AigleA quaint little town not far from where we stayed. I believe the town name translates to "Eagle" When the locals talk about it it sounds like they call the town "egg" or "aigg" with their Swiss-french pronunciation. This town had a cool castle. It was converted into a winery in later centuries and then into a tourist trap in modern times. For a small fee you can enter and exhaust yourself climbing 8 stories of a dizzying spiral staircase. Running out of film by the top almost made the view worth it. The first few photos are of a salt mine (that's too dark for good pictures) and the rest are of the castle and the town. The big wooden machine is a wine press if memory serves.
